I am a creative jack-of-all-trades. As a child I tinkered with radios and bicycles and built rockets. I continued developing this interest in my education. After completing my studies in metalworking and guitar making, I gained 10 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, precision metalworking, electricity, plastics and engineering design. A good basis to successfully complete all projects that come my way.

From a steel bar and a wooden block I make a knife. The blade I forge by hand in my little oven. The skills I learned in training, or gradually by working on my own, all come together in a knife. During workshops, I like to teach these skills!

 

In guitar making, we learned to keep our chisels razor sharp on the whetstone. I like to teach that skill during workshops & to anyone who owns a handmade knife of mine.
